Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a participant withdraws before the retreat commences for any reason, the deposit paid is non-refundable, however, may be transferred to another participant (for the same retreat – not future retreats). To transfer a deposit, the withdrawing participant is responsible for arranging another participant to take their place. The organisers are not responsible for finding a replacement participant.


The following refund policy applies.


If a participant withdraws prior to the retreat commencement:

  • 60+ days – a refund of 40% will be issued (less deposit).

  • 30 – 60 days – a refund of 20% will be issued (less deposit).

  • 1–30 days prior or withdraws after the retreat commences, no refund will be issued.

  • A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure your space.

  • The balance is due no later than TUESDAY 31 MARCH 2020 unless -  an agreed payment plan is in place prior to FRIDAY 31 JANUARY 2020, in which case the balance must be paid by FRIDAY 15 MAY 2020.

  • Arrangements for a payment plan or a lump sum payment to cover the balance will be made with each student after the deposit is paid, that adhere to the above conditions.

  • Where an agreement is not made, the organiser may offer this place to members on the waiting list. In such a case, the original student will forfeit their deposit.



Yoga, meditation and spiritual practice is founded on the development of self-awareness, including for each individual practitioner, an awareness of his or her own physical and mental capabilities and limitations, and the rate at which those limitations can be gradually overcome through practice. It is essential that students retain full responsibility for their own physical and mental well-being in applying instructions in the practice of yoga and/or meditation to their own circumstances, both during and outside retreats/pilgrimages. The organisers provide instructions to students in the practice of yoga and meditation strictly on that basis.

In registering for this retreat, you confirm that you accept responsibility for informing the organisers about any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy or changes to your health that may affect your practice, prior to the retreat commencing and well as any condition/illness/injury sustained during the retreat. You understand that you participate in yoga, meditation and spiritual practice at your own risk and accept full responsibility for any loss or injury suffered.

The organisers will not accept liability for any damages or loss which may arise out of a retreat cancellation. The organisers will not accept liability for any injury or loss suffered by students during transit to, during or transit post-retreat. It is a condition that you must have travel insurance to participate in the retreat. You must send through your travel insurance documents to the organisers, no later than 4pm on Friday 26 June 2020 – failure to provide will result in the cancellation of your participation, with no refund issued.


The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event for any reason. In the very unlikely case this happens, you will be issued a full refund, including your deposit.
